Welcome to Park House

Park House is a very spacious extended self catering crofters cottage in the small settlement of Dunan 5 miles north of Broadford. It commands an amazing outlook over the Isle of Scalpay to the north, the Isle of Raasay to the northwest and to the east views of the mainland. All the bedrooms, the lounge kitchen and dining area have stunning sea and mountain views. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs one double bedroom and one twin. There is also a toilet and a large double bedroom downstairs.

Where You'll be staying

Dunan is situated 5 miles north of Broadford on the A87 and 18 miles south of Portree the island capital. Both towns have shopping, amenities, cafes, pubs, hospitals and good restaurants.

The property is on the edge of the Cuillin Mountain range and only a fifteen minute drive from the Skye bridge at Kyle and 30 minutes to the Mallaig-Armadale Ferry.

Hi. Myself and husband Richard moved permanently to Skye after selling our business in York. We are very sociable, well travelled and love the outdoor life. We cycle and kayak together and do yoga and Richard loves to make home brew and cook. We are both vegan and enjoy the garden with our dog Morris the lurcher.

Change of plans? If you cancel more than 28 days before check-in, we'll refund you in full. Between 28 and 7 days out, you'll get 50% back. Closer than 7 days, we're unable to offer a refund.

Check-in from 3pm and check-out by 10am. We kindly ask guests to respect the home as if it were their own.

The property has smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit and clear emergency instructions on arrival. Please follow the provided guidance and do not leave candles or open flames unattended. There are instructions on using the wood burner and safety gloves. Please be aware there may be dangerous or toxic items within reach of children ( ie matches, dishwasher tablets, firelighters).
